Payment and Quote Terms

Quotes
All quotations provided by Carlos Fencing Pty Ltd are based on the information available at the time of quoting and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Quotes may be subject to change if:

Project specifications change.
-
Additional work is requested.
-
Site conditions differ from those initially described.
-
Access limitations are identified.
-
Material costs increase after the quote validity period.
-
Council or regulatory requirements affect the scope of work.
Â
Acceptance of a quote constitutes acceptance of these Payment & Quote Terms.
Â
Deposits
Â
A deposit may be required before materials are ordered or work is scheduled.
Â
The required deposit amount will be outlined in your quotation or invoice.
Â
Work may not commence until the required deposit has been received and cleared.
Â
Progress Payments
Â
For larger projects, Carlos Fencing may require progress payments at various stages of the project.
Â
Payment schedules will be outlined within the quotation where applicable.
Â
Final Payment
Â
Final payment is due upon completion of the project unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Â
Ownership of materials supplied and installed by Carlos Fencing remains with Carlos Fencing until payment has been received in full.
Â
Variations
Â
Any changes to the agreed scope of work may result in additional charges.
Â
Variations may include, but are not limited to:

Design changes
-
Additional materials
-
Additional labour
-
Site condition changes
-
Additional excavation or preparation work
-
Customer-requested modifications
Â
Variations may require written approval before work proceeds.
Â
Site Access & Customer Responsibilities
Â
Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the work area.
Â
Delays or additional costs may occur where:

Access is restricted.
-
Underground services are not accurately identified.
-
Existing structures interfere with installation.
-
Unforeseen site conditions are encountered.
Â
Any additional costs resulting from these circumstances may be charged separately.
Â
Delays
Â
Carlos Fencing will make every reasonable effort to complete projects within estimated timeframes.
However, delays may occur due to:

Weather conditions
-
Supplier delays
-
Material shortages
-
Site access issues
-
Unforeseen ground conditions
-
Circumstances outside our reasonable control
Â
Carlos Fencing shall not be liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control.
Materials
Â
Where specific products or materials become unavailable, Carlos Fencing reserves the right to offer a comparable alternative after consultation with the customer.
Â
Cancellations
Â
If a project is cancelled after materials have been ordered, the customer may be responsible for costs already incurred, including:

Material orders
-
Delivery charges
-
Custom fabrication costs
-
Administrative expenses
Â
Deposits may be non-refundable where costs have already been incurred.
Â
Warranties
Â
Carlos Fencing warrants that workmanship will be completed with reasonable care and skill in accordance with industry standards.
Â
Manufacturer warranties for materials and products remain subject to the individual manufacturer's terms and conditions.
Â
This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear
-
Storm, flood or weather-related damage
-
Damage caused by third parties
-
Misuse, neglect or improper maintenance
-
Ground movement or shifting soil conditions

Payment Methods
Â
We accept payment via methods specified on your invoice.
Â
Payment details will be provided upon acceptance of the quotation and on all invoices issued.
Â
Overdue Accounts
Â
Carlos Fencing reserves the right to charge reasonable recovery costs associated with overdue accounts where permitted by law.
Â
Further work may be suspended until outstanding balances are paid.
